Evolution's Legacy and Urban Ministry
The headlines are all too common - crimes abound,
families tear apart, neighborhood's decline, drugs flourish,
and schools underachieve. Few people actually choose to
live in America's inner-cities. The inner-city is typically
where a child is born and grows up, frequently feeling
imprisoned by the familiar sights of concrete, congestion
and pollution. Children in these neighborhoods dream of
escaping but fear the unknown. Adults fight to leave but
are persistently drawn back. The inner-city plight is
hard to ignore whether one lives there or is standing
outside looking in.
The number of social programs to reform inner-city America
also abound. Some are more effective than others but none
are able to rid our cities from the wantonness that looms
over the low income housing and stretches over the towering
apartment buildings. The strife is not limited to the
inner core of our metropolises. It extends into each urban
community though refining its appearance as it makes its
way out. By the time it reaches the suburbs, the debauchery
is diluted and less frequent but ever so evident to everyone
who locks his door at night.
Christ's words in Matthew 26:11 are not reassuring, "The
poor you will always have with you" but it underscores
what our consciences already bear. Yet, our Savior also
tells us that the perpetuity of poverty is no excuse for
ignoring it. In Luke 4:18 we are reminded of the very
focus of Christ earthly ministry: "The Spirit of
the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach
good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom
for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind,
to release the oppressed" (NIV), whether it is manifested
spiritually or physically.
What is astounding is the unrecognized detrimental cycle
that society effects onto our urban centers by substituting
God in our cities. By eliminating God and employing the
Theory of Evolution society tries to raise these communities
out of its social plunge. On nearly all levels our culture
has adopted Darwin's Theory of Evolution to describe man's
origin and place in the universe. Education is Darwin
based; social programs center on humanistic evolvement;
financial dealings are fed on the principle of survival
of the fittest; politics are geared according to Darwinian
Theory; new social morays are defined by Darwinian thought;
courts forbid the mention of an intelligent creator. In
hopes of lifting man's self-awareness and esteem we have
actually caused him to plummet.
The inner-city plight is more than the results of concentrated
depravity. It is the natural result of survival of the
fittest. It is Darwin's theory in practice. The violence,
abuse and degradation witnessed in urban communities are
the human versions of the hunting lion chasing and devouring
the innocent gazelle on the plains. If we are to advocate
Evolution in the wild, naturally we must allow it to have
its way in man too. In the city, survival of the fittest
is awarded to the boldest or the strongest. The fittest
is the one with the most money or the better weapon. In
my case, the fittest was the one with the fastest legs.
Evolution breeds predatory behavior and feeds on self
indulgence. Adolf Hitler often quoted Darwin. Hitler's
view was that death was good
the more death, the
more useful because it cleaned the genetic pool. Darwin
noted that his theory was widely accepted in Germany from
where it would spread. Later Nazi leaders would conclude,
"Darwin would be astounded at the progress we make
in one year as we move the human race forward" at
the Nazi Wannsee Conference referring to the extermination
of Jews as the final solution to the Jewish problem.
The Nazi regime was to perpetuate the fittest by eliminating
the unfit. "The purity of the racial blood should
be guarded, so that the best types of human beings may
be preserved and that thus we should render possible a
more noble evolution of humanity itself" Adolf Hitler
in Mein Kanpf.
Planned Parenthood's founder believed in human extermination
and was an avid Darwinian. Founder Margaret Sanger, believed
in removing "the dead weight of human waste."
She believed that society ought to pursue a "new
race of human thoroughbreds" and in "eliminating
human weeds." Planning families meant selectively
eliminating unwanted members of families and societies.
More recently, Columbine shooter Eric Harris posted on
his website, "You know what I love? Natural Selection!
It's the best thing that ever happened to the earth. Getting
rid of all the stupid and weak organisms." On the
last day of his life at Columbine High School, Harris
selectively chose who he would randomly kill while wearing
a shirt bearing "Natural Selection" across the
front. In an effort to weed out the weak, infirmed and
inept for a greater race, Darwin's Evolution inadvertently
promotes victimizing others as each individual considers
himself most worthy of survival.
There is no qualitative distinction between man and animal
in Darwinian Theory. Thus, there is no moral standard
and no conscience. This opens the door to atheism and
a valueless analysis of man. Prior to Evolution's proliferation,
revelation was the means by which man understood his origin.
Revelation carried an innate sense of right and wrong,
principles of civility, human value and an awareness of
brotherhood within mankind. Jean-Paul Sartre notes: "Without
God all activities are equivalent
thus it amounts
to the same thing whether one gets drunk alone or is a
leader of nations." Stephen J. Gould of Harvard,
a proponent of Evolution, noted that man as the crowning
achievement of creation is "moral conceit. We are
but an afterthought. We are a little accidental twig."
Today's evolutionary education promotes the supremacy
of the individual while undermining the supremacy of mankind.
It conveys an ethically-free conclusion of man while raising
the individual to primary status. It then attempts to
counter the natural sociological effects with political
correctness - a moral-free subjective standard of the
majority. The long-term potential implications are obvious.
In the short-term, we have a dog-eat-dog, survival of
the fittest mentality that reigns in our urban centers.
It's no wonder our city streets are wrought with angry
young men.
Urban ministry matters because, in an effort to raise
man out of the mire, it does not highlight individual
fitness but rather, points to his sinful nature. Before
urban ministry speaks of hope it underscores the broken
image of God in each man. More so, urban ministry points
to the fact that we are more than evolved animals. Rather,
we in the image of God have the ability of intellect,
volition, creation and worship. However, this image is
highly distorted and our conscience has become spastic.
Worse yet, we use the very image of God against God. Urban
ministry is vital because it places a mirror before the
conscience of men so they can see their reflection and
know their need of Christ. Then, urban ministry provides
for the masses of concentrated hopeless the solution to
their impoverished souls.
Urban ministry offers the boundless hope of Christ's atonement
and the contentment that comes to those who seek the Creator.
Urban ministry feeds the soul, gives life to the spirit
and hope to men. The sociological benefits are the outcome,
not the priority. Urban ministry makes possible the embracing
of one another. God's ministry of reconciling us to himself
generates peace within the home, satisfaction without
substance abuse, contentment without much and a willingness
to be set aside knowing that God will vindicate his own.
The good news of urban ministry is that the vast numbers
of people huddled in our urban centers do not have to
engage in a struggle to survive. They can have the ever
present abiding grace of God transforming them back into
the wondrous image of our maker.
In 1857 a revival was sparked in Manhattan by a small
number of men praying during their lunch hour. Soon that
small number grew into twenty and eventually into thousands.
Within a few short months 10, 000 New Yorkers were praying
at noon. Soon, the air of revival spread from the Gotham
masses across the rivers and revival took root throughout
the land and no one could ignore it - not those in it
and not those outside looking in. There is no telling
what God will do if we persevere in urban ministry.

Fraudulent Tolerance
The song that echoes from our school halls, public
arenas and media today is tolerance. We were first introduced
to the idea of modern tolerance through the assumption
of what is politically correct. Soon, the term PC became
as common as sliced bread and American families learned
to be cautious so as not to insult others with their
own convictions. The foundation for exercising political
correctness is the practice of tolerance.
Modern tolerance does not discriminate or elevate one's
own opinion, lifestyle, beliefs, faith or practices
over another's. Modern tolerance not only requires that
you keep your opinions and convictions to yourself,
but actually requires that you make no judgment call
against anyone's opinions or convictions that may differ
from yours. Modern tolerance is grounded in the false
assumption that truth does not exist, and if it does,
it cannot be known. And if truth does not exist, how
can you be intolerant of any conviction that may differ
from your own? In the tolerant world, everything is
subjective and pragmatic.
The quest for truth is nothing new. For ages, philosophers
have been pondering what is truth and how do we know.
However, today we are not searching for truth, we have
strategically abandoned our quest for truth and opted
to call attention to the assumption that the only truth
that exists is that there is no truth. This too is not
new. Before going to the cross, Jesus Christ was interrogated
by Pontius Pilate who asked him "What is truth?"
suggesting to Christ that truth cannot be known. There
the incarnated truth stood right before Pilate, spoke
to him and revealed himself to the Roman governor, and
yet he was unable to see it. We should not be any more
surprised when this generation, blinded by its sinful
depravity, finds it hard to see truth revealed in the
written word.
The philosopher Voltaire believed in tolerance. He noted
that though he may hate what you have to say, he will
defend your right to say it. This is true tolerance.
Note that true tolerance has two aspects: First, for
tolerance to exist there needs to be a contrast of beliefs.
Second, there needs to be a disagreement. Without disagreement,
there is no tolerance.
What is frightening about the modern tolerance that
is being dispensed today is that it is not tolerance
at all. Tolerance requires disagreement. Today we are
told not to disagree, but simply accept, make no discrimination,
make no judgments on other views, lifestyles or convictions.
Today's tolerance is not tolerance at all. It is mere
acquiescence - simple compliance, blind acceptance,
agreement steeped in a stupor of relativity. True tolerance
requires us to make moral choices and judgments while
not insisting on our own way.
The result of the counterfeit tolerance promoted today
is that all should be tolerated except for the intolerant.
Those who disagree should not be tolerated. In fact,
the United Nations has accepted this language noting
that they will tolerate all except for the intolerant.
And in at least two separate instances this past year,
public schools have used evangelical home schoolers
as object lessons for what happens to the intolerant.
As part of their preparation for life in a terrorized
society, young children in public schools have been
trained to react to terrorist attacks in their schools.
In two separate settings, the new breed of terrorists
to watch out for were angered evangelical home schoolers
who believed in objective truth and moral standards,
and now threatened the tolerant school house.
It is obvious that today's false brand of tolerance
will not breed a utopia. It will simply form a generation
of mindless existence unable to think critically, living
outside the parameters of morality and in a trance of
artificial sanctuary while our prisons will be filled
with people guilty of the crime of "disagreeing."
The Bible is clear, truth does exist, it is objective,
it is perpetual, it is binding and man innately craves
truth. The society that abandons truth for a more existential
existence will find itself not merely in a quandary
of crime, disease and destitution but also on the receiving
end of Christ's iron scepter. Thus we must continue
to proclaim the truth of Christ to this darkened world.

Swept Clean
Europe's Civilizational Morale
November 15, 2005
European governments, who after "copycat"
violence in Belgium and Germany feared a "spillover"
of the French problem, are assuring their nervous citizens
that it can't happen there.
There's a phrase for that: whistling past the graveyard.
In the immediate aftermath of the French riots, European
officials are re-examining their immigration policies.
An estimated 15-to-20 million Muslims live legally within
the European Union. Most of them are poor and live in
ghettoes that prevent their assimilation into the larger
society.
Of course, that assumes there's something to which
the immigrants can assimilate. But the EU has no strategy
for dealing with the cultural dimension of its problems.
Apart from endless calls for "dialogue," European
officials see the problem as entirely economic and legal.
That's why a German official reassured Germans by pointing
out that "[Germany has] a much tighter net of state
and economic support" than France.
As ridiculous as that sounds, it may be the best that
European officials can do given the depths of Europe's
moral and spiritual crisis. This crisis is described
by George Weigel in his recent book The Cube and
the Cathedral. The "Cathedral" in Weigel's
title represents Europe's Christian past, and the "Cube,"
its postmodern present.
Europe's spiritually barren world is best exemplified,
he says, in the European Union Constitution. The word
Christianity never appears in the 70,000-word-long
document. This is not an oversight: It's the product
of what has been termed Christophobia, a purposeful
and active denial of Europe's Christian roots.
Because of its rejection of Christian influence, Europe,
according to Weigel, "is dying." The most
obvious symptom is demographic: Within five years, deaths
will outnumber births in the European Union. If present
trends continue, by 2050, most Western Europeans will
have no brothers, sisters, aunts, or uncles.
The symptom also includes what Weigel calls "civilizational
morale." Shorn of the "transcendent moral
reference points" provided by Christianity, "civil
society" and democracy may not be possible. Weigel
draws a straight line connecting the kind of secularism
on display in modern Europe and illiberal ideologies
like communism and fascism.
And we can add Islamofascism, the word European
leaders refuse to utter. Weigel describes what he calls
"disturbing currents of irrationality" in
post-Christian Europe: like the fact that many Frenchmen
and one-third of young Germans believe that the United
States was literally responsible for September 11.
And while it may not make sense for kids in Europe who
listen to rap music and wear NBA jerseys to embrace
medieval Islam, today's Europe offers little else in
the way of meaning. The spiritual and moral vacuum is
reminiscent of Jesus' parable of the house that was
"swept clean" of one demon only to find something
far worse move in. With Christianity gone, Europe has
opened the door for destructive forces it can't control.
So Islam may accomplish through demographics what
it couldn't through six hundred years of armed combat:
that is, calling the faithful to prayer from the top
of Notre Dame. And it appears that there is little that
secular Europe wants to do about it.

Changing Times in America
Article by Dr. Peter Jones
– spirit-wars.com
This week my wife flew to Berlin to be with our oldest
daughter, who is having her fifth child. I can't help
thinking of the unrecognizable world in which our grandchildren
will live if the present radical agenda becomes the
cultural global norm.
It is said, "As California goes, so will go the
nation." Living in California, I get to see national
trends early on. Whenever I arrive in the parking lot
of terminal two of the San Diego airport I am confronted
by large, hideous stone statues of two semi-human beings
in a worshipful, pagan pose. Their heads resemble the
sun and the moon. At the same time, across town, the
fifty-year-old Mount Soledad cross, a war memorial to
those who died in the Korean War, is about to be removed.
Though 76% of voters voted to keep it, District Federal
Judge Gordon Thompson Jr. has ordered the city of San
Diego to remove this cross within 90 days or be fined
$5,000 a day. Out with the Cross. In with pagan idols.
In downtown San Jose, CA, the capital of Silicon Valley,
stands the only public art commissioned by the city
- an 8 foot tall, half-million dollar sculpture of Quetzalcoatl,
an Aztec deity.
In the area of "gender liberation" California
Episcopalians are ahead of the game. They narrowly avoided
electing the world's first lesbian bishop. What does
this mean? If the churches are supporting this agenda,
what hope is there for the society at large?
In the society at large, there has been a concerted
attempt to introduce homosexual clubs into the high
schools, especially via Parents of Friends of Lesbians
and Gays (P-FLAG) and Gay, Lesbian and Straight Educational
Network (GLSEN). It has worked very well. But California
has taken one step farther, passing bill SB 1437 that
requires textbooks to include "the contributions
of people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender
to the total development of California and the United
States." The bill, proposed by lesbian law-maker
Sheila James Kuehl, a Santa Monica Democrat, prohibits
kindergarten through high school teachers by law
from saying anything "adverse" about homosexuality.
Here is the wording: "no teacher shall give instruction
nor shall a school district sponsor any activity that
reflects adversely upon persons because of their...
sexual orientation..."
This law has many repercussions:
- Christian public school teachers who state the biblical
view of homosexuality as sinful behavior, could lose
their job;
- the natural family will no longer have its place
in the classroom- the terms "mom" and "dad,"
like Christmas and Easter, will be unconstitutional,
because they reflect "adversely" on "families"
with no dads or moms;
- the end of "kings" and "queens"
during homecoming and prom week as well as sex-specific
sports such as boys and girls basketball;
- since the law mandates that "no textbook or
other instructional materials shall be adopted...that
contains any matter reflecting adversely on...sexual
orientation," no open discussion of the issue
is allowed. This legally enforced closing of mouths
and minds will serve the ultimate goal of the gay
movement, namely, the normalization of virtually any
sexual life-style.
Hollywood, CA is doing its bit. The Da Vinci Code,
arriving on the screen May 19, asks the question, "Why
is the Mona Lisa smiling?" The author, Dan Brown
answers that it is Leonardo Da Vinci in drag. This is
not a joke! "The painting," says Brown, "carries
a subtle message of androgyny, neither male nor female...a
fusing of both." A leading psychologist and popular
writer, June Singer, a Jewess who as an adult converted
to Gnosticism, predicted this in her 1977 book- Androgyny:
Towards A New Theory of Sexuality. Singer says
that the Age of Aquarius is "the Age of Androgyny.
Thus true spiritual liberation includes the liberation
to be both male and female at the same time,
in the same person-andros, male; gyny,
female. "[t]he archetype of androgyny [will] appear
as a witness to the primordial cosmic unity," functioning
to erase distinction.
What is becoming law in our schools for our children
is clearly the agenda of the religious pagan worldview
all around us. We see it perhaps more clearly in California,
but it is everywhere, proceeding at a different pace
in different parts of modern society, but the end result
will be the same.
For our children and grandchildren, we need to engage
as citizens to uphold righteousness, but more than anything,
we need to pray for them, educate them to understand
the character of the pagan world around them, and teach
them the firm foundation of biblical theism. They need
to understand that all is not an undistinguished "oneness"
but all is "two," because God the Creator
is distinct from everything else, and distinction is
part of the wonderful world he made.

Immigration Reform and the Christian
The half brother of Christ, James, in his discourse
concerning saving faith being demonstrated by daily
practice notes in the 27th verse of the first chapter
while writing under the guidance of the Holy Spirit,
“Religion that God our Father accepts as
pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans
and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from
being polluted by the world” (NIV).
The scriptures lay out a twofold requirement of the
professing Christian. True and acceptable
religion is both the practice of one’s salvation
and to keep from becoming stained by the ways of this
world. Both are equally important. The
true convert of Christ both displays his saving faith
by lovingly caring for those in need while not allowing
his exposure to this world to taint him so that he
falls short of God’s moral standard.
The OT gives us an example of a genuine incarnation
of the James passage. Job, in defense
of himself lays out for the reader the qualities that
made his suffering situation seem like an absurdity.
And in his defense, he lays out some points that inadvertently
speak to the issue of illegal immigration and shed
light on principles for the Christian to undertake
toward those who are undocumented residents of the
United States.
Listed in the midst of the many virtues that Job
displayed we see in chapter 29 that Job was a merciful
man. However, in his mercy he did not ignore
justice and righteousness. In fact, verse 11
explains that he cloaked himself from head to toe
with these traits. Righteousness was the garment
close to his heart. Justice is described as his outer
coat that all could see and as his turban that mediated
his thinking. Though he was a man of justice,
compassion surfaced in the midst of justice and righteousness.
In fact, justice with righteousness impose a buoyancy
to mercy that forces compassion, pity and love to
rise up when it may otherwise remain submerged in
the depths of our hearts.
Verses 12-13 & 15-16 show us the depth of Job’s
compassionate heart in five ways. First,
note that Job rescued those who could not help themselves
because of poverty (v. 12). Second, he assisted
those who needed aid because they had no father (v.
12). A father is to be a provider, one who gives
guidance – a counselor. A family
without a father stands to suffer much. Third,
in his compassionate faith this patriarch provided
for the widow who had no provider (v. 13) so that
even from the deathbed, Job was welcomed because he
gave aid to the widow. As required in our James
text, Job exemplified compassion and mercy in taking
care of those who cannot take care of themselves.
True saving faith is marked by love to others &
holiness to God, both of which Job demonstrated.
It is worthy of notice that our holiness is pinpointed
to a singular devotion – God himself.
On the other hand, our love is broadly focused on
any who stand in need. The expectancy of love
is clear. The text goes on to further outline
this man’s compassion. Fourth, he enabled
those who were weak (v. 15) by being eyes for the
blind feet for the lame. Fifth, Job was
an advocate of the one who had no friend (v. 16) and
even took up the case for the stranger that no one
else knew or would defend. It should be stressed
here that Job’s mercy was more than a response
to God’s common grace among men. Rather,
it was the direct result of his faith in, and thus
his fear of, the Almighty God. Chapter 31:23 states,
“For I dreaded destruction from God, and for
fear of his splendor I could not do such things”
(NIV) such as ignoring those in need.
I believe that the implications of the scriptures
upon the Christian’s reasoning over the 10 million
undocumented residents in our nation are obvious yet
difficult to harmonize. We have a continuous
flow of strangers without an advocate crossing into
the USA. There are poor individuals and families in
need of rescue entering our American borders daily.
Yet they have broken the law of the land and are thus
dubbed illegal aliens.
I don’t believe it correct to casually apply
here the OT principles given to Israel concerning
aiding the aliens in their time of need. Though
there is obviously a necessity to correlate those
laws with our present Christian thinking, these texts
are not referring to those who were among the chosen
people illegally. Rather, they were among the
people of God as foreigners who were fully adoptive
of the requirements invested in God’s OT elect
nation. They were not a subculture or a population
free to live out there old lives within new borders.
Like Ruth the Moabite widow, they were responsible
to obey God’s laws and requirements while not
being given full privileges. In a land where
a child was stoned to death for disrespect of his
parents, I am certain illegal residency was not tolerated.
Various verses in the OT show that the concept of
borders is God ordained and that God requires that
borders be respected (Num. 34:1-12). Likewise,
God instructs his people to distinguish between foreigners
who threaten the land and culture and those foreigners
who show no threat to the nation (Deut. 2:1-9; Obadiah).
Nonetheless, mercy couched in justice and righteousness
must be afforded to those undocumented workers now
residing in the USA. I believe both polarized
sides of the argument desire justice.
Both sides cry "Let justice be meted out!"
If the Christian assumes a social perspective, justice
means mercifully taking care of the illegal alien.
If the Christian assumes a forensic perspective, justice
means deportation &/or incarceration, no citizenship,
no free education, and no free medical services.
Again the scriptures are clear. Both justice
and righteousness must be elevated, as must mercy
and compassion. The Christian must develop a
principle by which mercy & compassion is extended
to these impoverished foreigners (that's why they
risked all to come here) and still uphold and respect
the law of the land. We cannot ignore
social justice but neither can we ignore forensic
justice. A people who disregard the law
of the land (forensic justice) will soon find themselves
in anarchy. By the same token, a people
who disregard social justice will soon find themselves
merciless. Christ said, “Blessed are the
merciful for they will be shown mercy.”
With an eye on what God approves and another eye on
what God disapproves we must meld the two principles
into a biblical unity. For both anarchy and
mercilessness are abominations to God. Both
sides can quote Deut. 27:19 "Cursed is the
man who withholds justice from the alien, the fatherless
or the widow." Then all the people shall say,
"Amen!" (NIV). To the socially
conscious, the verse is plain. However, justice
is a double-edged sword. Justice for the one
who has broken the law stems beyond social implications
and would require penalty instead.
What some may accuse of being a compromise, I insist
is the unity of principles outlined in the scriptures.
Compromise on moral issues is an absolute failure
and I would not suggest it. What I believe we
have in our present day, politics set aside, is an
opportunity to biblically love those who are in need
while not being soiled by the ways of the world. Thus
we must not advocate illegal actions but be merciful
to those who are in need. The Christian must
rescue the perishing but not ignore the law of the
land. Job (in v. 17) was devoted to justice.
He broke the fangs of the wicked and snatched the
victim from the wicked's teeth because the wicked
are a devouring merciless brood and ready to take
advantage of the weaker they see as prey.
The God honoring church will stand on the side of
justice… the justice incorporated in the law
of the land but with a conscience mobilized by principle
& mercy. The godly man is a voice for the
voiceless. It would be to the nation’s
great detriment to impose a penalty on those of faith
who assist the illegal alien. Equally, it would
be to the nation’s long-term detriment to philosophically
reason that the laws of the land have no bearing on
the issue. This sort of reasoning will
thrust the nation deeper into post-modern relativism.
And it will be of a more heinous sort, for this relativism
will have originated in the house of God.
The church planting pundits are correct in that these
masses of people provide opportunity within the States
to evangelize the lost and expand the kingdom of God.
My hope is that we will continue to have such foresight.
Personally, I am encouraged to read the statistics
of the numbers of undocumented residents who pay their
taxes and contribute to the nation from which they
profit. However, I am disconcerted by the masses
who ignore the government, our flag, our laws and
threaten a revolution of sorts which will retake a
land they claim was once theirs. This is the
same argument the Palestinians have terrorized Israel
with for so many decades. As a first generation
South American immigrant myself, I find it difficult
to embrace blatant disrespect and violation of our
nation’s laws. As a comparatively recent
naturalized citizen I am taken back by the willingness
of so many to approve of the open borders and so quickly
offer amnesty. I realize that politically and
logistically amnesty will have to be offered to the
vast majority of undocumented residents. However,
the disregard for the law of the land and disregard
for the reasons these laws were imposed is striking.
Present politics has offered what appears to be only
one possible solution in the Temporary/Guest/Resident
Work Programs proposal. However, it seems to be equally
nightmarish to employ. Yet, like Job, my opinions
need to be relegated to the crevices of my actions
and I must have mercy on the poor while upholding
the just laws of the land. I swore that
I would just four years ago.
“Have I not wept for those in
trouble?
Has not my soul grieved for the poor?”
Job 30:25 (NIV)
